“Creating an Accountable and Affordable Healthcare Delivery System” – Ed Epperson, CEO at Carson-Tahoe Regional Health Care Center will review the Affordable Care Act of 2010 and what it did – and didn’t do – to ensure development of affordable and accountable health care throughout the nation. Epperson will also address trends and challenges that are developing in the health care industry.
“How to Navigate Health Care Reform for You, Your Family and Your Business” – Valerie Clark, Founder of Clark & Associates, will present health care reform provisions impacting employer-based health plans on or after Sept. 23, 2010 which marked the date some of the first health care reform provisions took effect outlining other provisions which will continue to be implemented over the next several years.
“Nevada Health Centers Announces its New Medical and Administrative Offices in Carson City” – Thomas Chase, CEO of Nevada Health Centers will explain the need for their services in Carson City and how community health centers assist with economic stability, community partnerships, and new staffing and medical home models. The facility will have a positive impact as it increases the number of people served in helping to build a healthy community.
