The changing of the monthly guard is happening. The first of May is Sunday and Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Music, theater, sports, shopping and more will be abundant in the valley this weekend, so make sure to take a good look at this weekend’s list for all of your fun options.

Today is the last day of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Associated Students of WNC are leading a walk from the Bully’s Parking Lot up to the college. It’s only a mile and a half and refreshments will be available at the end.

Find something special for Mom this weekend. The Mother’s Day Craft Fair at Fuji Park is a good place to start. You’ll find one of a kind stuff at the Earth Spirit Faire at the Community Center. Search for something unique at the Carson Victory Rollers’ Rummage Sale inside the Carson Mall, and don’t forget to check out the neat shops in there, too.
