A vehicle chase that began just before 7:30 p.m. for a failure to yield ended with at least 10 patrol vehicles working in tandem to stop the vehicle before it caused a serious wreck. Three were apprehended when the vehicle chase ended at Paiute and Shoshone just off of Curry Street.
The pursuit ran the length of Colorado and Roop streets, taking side roads, going at excessive speeds, but one by one patrol cars jumped ahead of the suspect vehicle, attempting to slow it down as it entered and exited major streets and intersections.
At around 7:37 p.m. three of the suspects were detained after they had jumped from the vehicle, according to police scanner dispatch.
